Some scapulars used to have indulgences attached to them - do they still have them after the new Enchiridion? They could greatly aid the souls in Purgatory.
The Enchiridion of Indulgences states that a partial indulgence may be received from the devout use of an article of devotion (i.e. crucifix, cross, rosary, scapular, or medal).

If the article of devotion was blessed by the Pope or a Bishop, then a plenary indulgence can be obtained through devout use of the article on the Feast of the Sts. Peter and Paul. A profession of faith must accompany this to obtain the indulgence.
