This booklet is excellent! When I read it a long time ago, it changed my life. I was in bad straits, in a boarding home where I had to sit outside on the porch because the family wanted their privacy. Yes, I had to sit outside all winter long. It was a bad neighborhood, and sitting there was not safe. I took my last ten dollars for the month and had a mass offered up for the souls in Purgatory. Within days, my mother took me into her home. Later, I found out that a riot had started near the place where I sat every day and I surely would have been killed by the sprays of bullets had I still been there. This booklet, and "Read Me or Rue It", changed my whole attitude. Now I do as much as I can to live right and, by helping the souls in Purgatory through the Heroic Act, to avoid Purgatory myself. I am sure it was their prayers that spared my life!
